DOWNTOWN VICTORIA | 1.5km

Whether you like art, shopping, food or the outdoors - Downtown Victoria offers a huge variety of things to do. Walk along the Inner Harbour, which is surrounded by The Empress Hotel, Royal BC Museum and British Columbia Legislature. Prince of Whales Whale Watching offers fantastic tours, that range from three hours trips to full-day excursions.

COOK STREET VILLAGE | 2.3km

Located within the Fairfield neighbourhood of Victoria, Cook Street Village offers an array of eclectic restaurants and shops and a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere. Organic food markets beckon with fresh, local produce and organic deli items. Gather with friends at one of the three coffee houses in the village and simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

FERNWOOD VILLAGE | 1.0km

This historic neighbourhood offers a real community feel, as well as shops and eateries surrounding the main square. The main attraction and Fernwood landmark is the Belfry theatre. Located in a historic former church, this theatre is a non-profit organization committed to producing thought-provoking performances and to championing Canadian talent.

BEACON HILL PARK | 2.3km

Established in the late 19th century, this beautiful 200-acre park features ponds, gardens, and exotic flora and fauna. Enoy the stunning ocean view from the lookout, follow the peacocks through the beautiful gardens, treat yourself to a horse-drawn carriage ride through the park, or simply relax in this green oasis. If you cross the park you reach scenic Dallas Road Oceanfront with its beaches.

OAK BAY VILLAGE | 2.5km

Just a short drive from downtown Victoria, you'll find a little piece of heaven we call Oak Bay, the oceanside community that is considered the most "British" neighbourhood in Greater Victoria. Established by wealthy city residents anxious to escape the mud flats of the Inner Harbour, Oak Bay still retains a distinct genteel flavour, reflected by its village shops, restaurants and tearooms.

BUTCHART GARDENS | 23km

One of Victoria’s most beloved attractions, these stunning gardens are a short drive from our hotel and are open year-round. The Gardens are also known for their environmental efforts, including comprehensive recycling programs and sustainable gardening practices. Notice that the gardens also offer special events like the fabulous fireworks during summer time for example.
